Mid-season mixer

Wow, what a fun filled weekend we had. Those of you who went to wonderland on saturday knew how awesome it was. There's just way too much to talk about, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

The day started with the team meeting up at the gate to go in together, bright and early at 10am.







We were at wonderland, so of course we went on rides! Something about getting flung around in the air and dropping at ridiculous speeds just gives us a thrill eh?













All the while though, there was a big game of tag going on. Every team was involved in this, and the team with the most accumulated tags at the end of the day won a free table at the banquet. Really, we had nothing to lose. So we played our best, had to make lots of pit stops during the day to give our autographs to people, but it was worth it. Lights came out victorious, winning the table for the banquet!

I think Will put it best when he said, "while bob’s feat of single handedly beating out so many other teams in the tag game was amazing, the lights team really demonstrated what team unity is all about and what more can be achieved when you pull together and have a common goal."





Our day ended with an amazing concert and message. Though not everyone was present, you could feel the unity of the ccsa in that little tent. Imagine if all the players of all 75 teams came out? What an amazing feat that would be.





I'd have to say that the $30 we spend on the ticket was well worth it. We had a great time bonding as a team, won tickets while we were at it, and got to ride on a bunch of rollercoasters too (well not really, considering how many of them werent working) If you didn't get a chance to come to wonderland, you missed out! Going to wonderland and spending the day together is only a small part of what we do as a team. There will be more fun times to come - just make sure you're a part of it when it comes!
